Glitter paint

This morning we decided to make paint for painting the paving stones and walls outside!
We used corn flour and water to make the right consistency....

Added food dye....
Did a lot of colour mixing to create our own colours...Fred was really pleased he worked out how to make my favourite colour Turquiose!
And then to jazz it up we added loads of glitter!
Then took our paints outside to try them. We were so pleased at how vibrant the colours were.
The glitter looked really effective in the sun and make it all so shiny and sparkly.
Hand prints started off the body art craze...
Mia painted her body and then my legs! Fun until I realised it was very hard to wash off...I now look like I applied fake tan very badly! Had to wear a long skirt for the rest of the day and I imagine tomorrow too!
Then our friend came over, Freddie gave her a tutorial on "snail keeping"
And there was lots of dressing up and (sorry daddy) fingers and toe nails were painted pink on the demand of both girls!
Then a stressful visit to grandma's....but wont go into that!!!!!
Lots of Skype action with Daddy and also Nanna and Bapou. The count down to daddys return continues.... 2 more days to go xxxxx
