Yet another wonderful summers day..we tended to our plants;
Did daddys watering....
Some cotton real threading...or "making wormy s" as Mia calls it...
Had a lovely Skype conversation over lunch with daddy then went of to our gymnastics session. We met our friends there and the kids teared around, jumping, climbing, bouncing, running and swinging from the rings. They had bright red faces at the end of the session and drunk about a gallon of water!Then we toddled down to the river for a spot of paddling and fishing. This week the kids were braver and chose to play in the deeper and faster flowing water! Mia led the way!!!
Then (dont tell daddy) we "popped" into Waitrose for a couple of "essentials" which had been identified by Fred, and then went to see a very grumpy grandma in hospital. The kids were amazing, we got there at 6 (visiting time), it was their dinner time, they were really hot and the ward was unbearably stuffy, and they were tired, yet they were amazing. So loving to grandma, both enjoying chatting with staff, particularly a cheeky porter who was making them laugh, and just playing together whilst I sorted grandma out...and she needed quite a lot of sorting!
