Today the postman brought an assortement of coloured lollipop sticks so we got straight to work sticking and colouring and cutting. We made lolipop people, monsters and of course angry birds! It was one of the first times that Freddie got enthusiastically stuck in, I have found that up till now Freddie has appeared nervous of not being able to do things right. Not today, he was really happy trying things out and thrilled with the end results. He was motivated by making the models for daddy to take away to Sweden. Mia was more into colouring the lolipop sticks and colouring on paper. She loved it and got stuck in. She also assigned herself the role of " keeper of the pens" which could have caused some friction but actually it was all wonderfully harmonious. The kids are really close now, playing together so much. A few little conflicts along the way but they generally resolve them now themselves. Bliss!
Just realised the photos I took today are on the I pad which is in Sweden with James.
Emotional goodbye to James this evening. Freddie has really felt it.
