After lunch our friends came over for fun in the paddling pool. We blew bubbles and then set about doing a little science experiment where we put food colouring into little cups of water and used droppers to mix the coloured water. Great discoveries where made, for example they found that blue water mixed with yellow water made green! Then we tried to do the experiment with mixing coloured paint but the kids had different plans and set about painting the walls and using small sponges to paint with as we'll as paint brushes. Great fun was had by all.
The sad news of the day is that grandma fell and broke her leg and is having surgery in hospital right now :(
