We hammered holes with a hammer and nail and threaded cotton through with needle which Mia managed to do on her own. We drew on a smile and glued googly eyes on. Mia wanted him to have a lead too.
Fred loved the conker game and played myself, Mia, aunty when she dropped in at lunch time and daddy when she got home.

Then we got ourselves together for our craft lesson. Unfortunately we found out that it had been cancelled but we went over to our friends anyway to have fun and do some activities.
We had such a lovely afternoon. It is always so lovely over there.
Mia using a Doily to do a glitter firework picture. She painted glue over the holes and then sprinkled glitter on. Silly me left her pics there so I didn't take photo of the end results but will do and update post!
Cheeky Fred has learnt to write "poo" and he had great delight writing it for everyone!
When the girls finished their art they went off to play leaving the boys hard at work...
Fred was totally engrossed in his book on dinosaurs. He drew fossils and dinosaurs, sometimes on his own others by connecting dot to dots that I had drawn for him and then writing a word or two about his picture. Again sometimes he managed to write the words himself and other times doing them by dot to dot.
He is so proud of his first book! He couldn't wait to show daddy!
We have booked onto an archeology day in December. It is for home ed children and is at a museum about an hour away. The children will do digging for fossils and bones, fossil and mineral handling ,Archaeology trail, Making a fossil, making a dinosaur mask ,bag of bones activity and an activity about reconstructing pottery. Freddie will be in heaven!
It is rainy and cold, I think winter is here! It's lovely sitting here all snuggled next to my lovely hubby, listening to the rain thundering down.
