Cosy day with butterfly craft and Star Wars stones!

Today we all felt the need to cosy down at home in our tracky bottoms! We played, read books and did crafts.

Mia got completely engrossed in making butterfly's...

And Fred first made a space ship...

And the decided to paint stones and make them into his favourite Star Wars characters. We saw this idea on Pinterest and he loved the idea. So for the first time we opened the acrylic paints and Fred got to work painting the stones their base colour...

This is the little collection of crafts done today...

After lunch we did some reading, Mia chose a story book about horses and Fred wanted a factual book about Dinosaurs. When reading with Freddie, Mia busied herself with some beading...that felt so good and reminded me that I must set her up with an activity when doing something with Fred that she is not interested in.

In the afternoon we ventured out with aunty to do some errands and to go to the pet shop, everyone's favourite!
