This morning we rushed out of the house for our 10 am music class. Fred loves this class so much and was so excited! When we got there we were told that our teacher had broken down in his car and would miss our lesson. Fred was so disappointed but the mums got together and led a class of games which the kids enjoyed. Mia was thrilled to be able to join in too. She is so excited about becoming old enough to join Freddie's music class! Blake arrived and offered us a lesson at 12 o'clock when he had finished the other classes he was scheduled to teach. We all agreed and we headed to a park to play whilst we wait. We have made some really lovely new friends who have just moved here. They have a boy exactly the same age as Fred and a little girl the same age as Mia ( and a 3 week old!). The kids have really gelled and they had a lovely time playing at the park. Then we headed back to our class which according to Freddie was "brilliant"!
We had a lovely afternoon at home, snuggled on the sofa with the fire on reading books and also doing beading! Mia made bracelets and worms with leads on and Fred made Star Wars things, light sabres, "traps" spaceships.... We beaded onto pipe cleaners as the kids could do that independently.
