I love that it is illegal to divide children into sets! I would love to see their statistics for mental health, my guess is that low self esteem and poor mental health is not so rife there as it is here.....

School should not start until 6/7 say "educational experts" today!
Today researchers have announced that their research has shown starting formal school earlier than 6/7 is harmful to children and that the first 7 years of a child's life should be filled with play. Apparently Ireland are considering allowing a flexible starting age as a result. Made me think of countries such as Finland with their late start, relaxed schooling and fantastic results.....
